Digital India, Human Advancement, Multi-Disciplinary Thoughts & Ambedkar

The purpose of the Digital India Mission is "Power to Empower". There is a huge development in Digital Infrastructure over the past seven years in the country under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi ji. Mobile phones are available in the hands of common man with good intent connectivity. There are a number of online services available (Digital Services). However, there is still a digital divide, hence there is a huge requirement for Digital Education, People in the rural areas are still not able to use these available digital services and continue to struggle as in the past. Many have mobiles with internet connectivity but they have no awareness and knowledge over various services that are available through simple applications (apps) in the mobile phones that are in their hands.

  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will take up this challenge to empower the people, especially those who are in rural areas and bring awareness on all the available Digital Services that are available through Digital India initiative. Educate the rural population towards attaining "equality liberty and fraternity".
  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will also take up the activities towards "Human Advancement". Dr. Ambedkar dreamt of equal opportunities to all sects of people. While the world is advancing at an atmospheric pace, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will take up all such activities towards the upliftment of deprived and marginalised people.
  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is known as Multi-facet personality. He is known as the Architect of Constitution of India. He also made an outstanding contribution as Economist, Sociologist, Anthropologist, Educationist, Journalist, Policy-maker, Administrator, Parliamentarian, Renowned Jurist. He is a man with Multi-disciplinary thoughts and he is the first national leader of this country who dreamt of Modern India. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will take all the measures to work through Multi-disciplinary thoughts towards the Nation Building and Community Growth.
  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will take up the challenge of inculcating Dr. Ambedkar Ideology into the minds of this generation. The need of the hour in this country is to Rejuvenate Ambedkar's Ideology through Cultivation of Digital Minds. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair at Andhra University will put all its effort to reach out this young generation through contemporary approaches to highlight Ambedkar's ideology towards bringing solutions to the contemporary issues.
